Meredith Burton
Meredith Burton is Managing Editor and geopolitical analyst for Why Geopolitics Matter. She holds a master’s degree in Geopolitical Studies from Charles University, and a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy with a specialization in Environmental Policy from Oregon State University. Her work concentrates on geoeconomics, state sovereignty, and institutionalism.

Laura Pérez
Laura Pérez is a geopolitical analyst and graduate of the Master’s Program in Geopolitics at Charles University in Prague. With a background in Macro economics and Energy security she focused on trade policies, sanctions, and energy dependencies. As WGM Podcast Lead, she drives in-depth discussions on major international developments.

Antoine Quiquempoix
Antoine is Video Editor and analyst for Why Geopolitics Matter. He holds a master’s degree in geopolitical studies from Charles University and a bachelor’s degree in European political sciences (ESPOL). His work focuses on security dynamics and competition of power in Africa, Europe and in the post-Soviet space. He is fluent in French and English.

Conor Long
Conor is an analyst with Why Geopolitics Matter, covering contemporary geopolitical issues, with a particular focus on Europe. He holds a master’s degree in Geopolitical Studies from Prague’s Charles University, and a bachelor's degree in Geography and Sociology from University College Cork, Ireland.
